Khatt is an app for Android, iPhone and iPad for learning and practising Arabic handwriting, published by WiseAppsAI. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
All of this stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app or clear its data. We have no access to it.
If you have turned on device backup (Android backup, or iCloud Backup on iPhone and iPad), your device may include Khatt's data in that backup so it can be restored on a new device. This is handled by Google or Apple under their privacy policies. We cannot see these backups.
On iPhone and iPad you can turn on an optional daily reminder. It is scheduled on your device as a local notification. Nothing is sent to us or to a server.
To read letter names and words aloud, Khatt passes the Arabic text to the text-to-speech engine installed on your device. The engine is provided by your device maker or another company, under its own privacy policy. Khatt sends it only the letter or word to be spoken.
Khatt is suitable for learners of every age. It does not ask anyone, including children under 13, for personal information, and it collects none.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
