Iqra follows your recitation with on-device speech recognition, which can make mistakes: it may miss a slip, or mark a correct recitation as a mistake. Confirm your recitation and Tajweed with a qualified teacher and the Mushaf.
Open a page and tap Recite, then begin reciting. Speech recognition on your iPhone follows you word by word on the Mushaf page and notes possible slips for you to review.
No. Recognition runs on your iPhone. Audio leaves your device only if you choose to send a problem report. See the privacy policy for details.
We are sorry. Please tap Report on that mistake, or go to Settings → Report an Issue / Misheard Recitation, and send the report. It helps us fix the cause.
Check that the microphone is allowed in iOS Settings → Iqra → Microphone. Recite in a quiet place with your iPhone nearby.
Following your recitation runs on your device and needs no internet. Mushaf page fonts, reciter audio and tafsir are downloaded when first needed. Reciter audio and tafsir can also be downloaded ahead of time for offline use.
Go to Settings → Recordings & Diagnostics. You can delete sessions or choose how long recordings are kept.
