Zikra is a local-first spaced-repetition flashcard app. It works without an account, and your study data stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what does and does not happen with your data.

Summary

Data stored on your device

Decks, notes, cards, any images you add, your review/study history, streaks, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We cannot see this data. Uninstalling the app removes it.

AI features (optional)

Zikra offers optional AI-assisted card creation. You choose whether to use it, and there are two modes:

If you never use AI features, no card content is transmitted off your device.

Subscriptions (Zikra Premium)

Zikra Premium is an optional subscription sold and processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. To confirm an active subscription, Google Play provides a purchase token, which we verify against Google's servers. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store.

No accounts, no contacts, no location, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or behavioral tracking.

Each has its own privacy policy governing its handling of data.

Children

Zikra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
