Battery Lens Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
Battery Lens does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Data stored on your device
Battery Lens stores battery charge-session measurements and your app preferences locally on your device. This data is used only to show history, calculate estimates, and apply the alert thresholds you choose.
Android may include this local data in operating-system backup or device-transfer features. Battery Lens does not operate a server and cannot access those backups.
Permissions
Battery Lens may request notification permission so it can show charging progress, charge-target alerts, and temperature alerts you enable. On supported Android versions, it also declares the non-runtime promoted-notification permission so Android may place ongoing charging progress on prominent status and lock-screen surfaces. Denying notification permission does not prevent live measurements or local history.
Network and third parties
Battery Lens does not request internet access and includes no advertising, analytics, attribution, social, or crash-reporting SDK.
Data deletion
You can delete local charge history from Preferences. Uninstalling the app removes its local data, subject to Android backup and restore behavior controlled by your device or account settings.
Children's privacy
Battery Lens does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users because it does not collect personal data.
Changes to this policy
If Battery Lens features or data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are released.
